A $3.7 million condo overlooking the Greenway topped priciest sales tally

Close behind it was a nearly 6,000-square-foot house in Winchester, which went for $3,400,000, and homes in Newton and Weston.

A wide variety of homes made our priciest sales list, but it was hard to beat a condo that sits in the heart of downtown Boston overlooking the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway that sold for $3,775,000. Close behind it was a nearly 6,000-square-foot house in Winchester, which went for $3,400,000.

Other big sales that made our weekly tally include a Newton mansion with a very impressive pool that sold for $2,888,888 and a Shingle-style home in Weston that dropped for $2,630,000.

Located along the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, this downtown condo at Boulevard on the Greenway offers three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 2,414 square feet of living space. It sold for $3,775,000 on Friday, Jan. 18, according to Realtor.com, and was listed by Shannon McNamara of Campion & Company. Inside, you’ll find floor-to-ceiling windows and an open living space, all of which is filled with natural light. The kitchen boasts a big island with seating and top-of-the-line appliances. Along with private outdoor space, the building features a two-story lobby, a clubroom, a private fitness facility, and onsite garage parking.

This six-bedroom, 7.5-bath, 5,957-square-foot home is located on a half acre lot in the town’s French Hill neighborhood. The home has a wraparound porch to enjoy when the weather is great, and a three-car garage to utilize when it’s not. The property, which sold for $3,400,000 on Tuesday, according to Realtor.com, was listed by Elizabeth Crampton of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Lexington.

The home, which sold for $2,888,888 on Friday, Jan. 18, offers six bedrooms, seven full baths, two half baths, and 7,500 square feet of living space. The house was listed by Robin Allen of William Raveis Real Estate in Brookline. The highlight of this property may be what you find outside; French doors lead to a heated pool surrounded by a dining area and plantings. When its time to go inside, head to the kitchen, which has two islands, three ovens, two sinks, top-of-the-line appliances, and a butler’s pantry. The lower level features a media room, a mudroom, a laundry room, a kitchenette, an exercise room, and a bedroom suite. You can reach it all by elevator. The home sits on 0.47 of an acre.

The home, which boasts flooring with radiant heat, sold for $2,630,000 on Friday, Jan. 18, according to Realtor.com. It was listed by Chaplin Partners with Compass.
