Newly constructed homes stole the show this week, as a recently built mid-century modern home in Weston sold for $3,550,000 and a modern Colonial in Newton dropped for $2,850,000. Large estates in Milton and Needham also went for top dollar, making this week’s list.

This newly constructed, mid-century modern-styled Weston home boasts five bedrooms, 6 ½ baths, and 7,985 square feet of living space, all set on 1.57-acre lot. The kitchen offers a waterfall-edge island and white cabinetry, all of which opens up to the spacious backyard patio and green space. In the finished walk-out lower level, you’ll also find patio access, along with exercise and media areas. It sold for $3,550,000 on Friday, Jan. 11, according to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). The listing firm was Chaplin Partners with Compass.

Set in Waban Square, this newly constructed 6,732-square-foot Colonial sold for $2,850,000 on Tuesday, Jan. 15, according to the MLS. The home is filled with natural light, especially in the kitchen, where you’ll find windows on three sides and a sliding glass door. On the second floor is the master suite with an en-suite bath, built-ins, a fireplace, and a walk-in closet. There are a total of five bedrooms and seven baths. The lower level includes a full bath, study, and playroom. The listing firm was William Raveis Real Estate – Newton.

According to its listing, this home as been “meticulously updated with understated elegance and luxurious amenities,” which includes a kitchen with a white quartz island, a living room with a butler’s pantry and bar, and a swimming pool. The 5,884-square-foot home offers five bedrooms, three full baths, and three half baths, all set set on a 4.08-acre lot. The home sold for $2,700,000 on Friday, Jan. 11, according to the MLS. The listing firm was Treetop Realty Group with Keller Williams Realty.
239 Bridle Trail Road, Needham
Enter this 6,485-square-foot home into a grand foyer with a sweeping staircase. On the main level, there’s a formal dining room, a living room with a fireplace, a mahogany office with floor-to-ceiling built-ins, and direct access to a professionally landscaped granite patio and backyard. Set on an acre lot, the home has six bedrooms, four full baths, and two half baths. It sold for $2,425,000 on Monday, Jan. 14, according to the MLS. The listing firm was Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices Commonwealth Real Estate.
