To find the priciest home sales in Greater Boston for our weekly tally, we had to head for the suburbs. Leading the way was a new Prairie-style Newton contemporary with more than 8,000 square feet of living space spread over three levels. The home sold for $3,500,000. An equestrian estate in Duxbury came in second, selling for $2,087,500, followed by a Georgian Colonial in Milton and a to-be-built Colonial on nearly two acres in Natick. They dropped for $2,000,000 and $1,730,000, respectively.
