Rockport home goes for $3.4 million, but Millennium Tower tops sales — again

Two properties in a former South End church also made our list.

Since its opening, Millennium Tower in Downtown Crossing has usually made our weekly roundup of big home sales — this week is no exception.

A three-bedroom unit in the luxury tower sold this week for $6,700,000, topping our list. A Rockport estate set on a two-acre peninsula sold for $3,400,000, and two units in The Lucas went for $3,350,000 and $3,200,000 in a lineup reminiscent of last week’s big sales.

This three-bedroom, 4.5-bath, 3,172-square-foot Millennium Tower condo sold for $6,700,000 on Tuesday. The unit has walls of glass, providing views of Back Bay, Boston Common, and the Charles River.
