Rockport home goes for $3.4 million, but Millennium Tower tops sales — again
Two properties in a former South End church also made our list.
Since its opening, Millennium Tower in Downtown Crossing has usually made our weekly roundup of big home sales — this week is no exception.
A three-bedroom unit in the luxury tower sold this week for $6,700,000, topping our list. A Rockport estate set on a two-acre peninsula sold for $3,400,000, and two units in The Lucas went for $3,350,000 and $3,200,000 in a lineup reminiscent of last week’s big sales.

This three-bedroom, 4.5-bath, 3,172-square-foot Millennium Tower condo sold for $6,700,000 on Tuesday. The unit has walls of glass, providing views of Back Bay, Boston Common, and the Charles River. The kitchen offers three walls of cabinetry and a large center island, along with a dining/bar space next to it that flows into a reading nook with floor-to-ceiling windows. Set on a 2.03-acre lot, this four-bedroom, 3.5-bath, 4,492-square-foot estate on a peninsula in Rockport sold for $3,400,000 on Friday, Nov. 10. The home, known as “Stone Haven,” has been renovated and includes storm-proof windows and amazing water views. In the living room, you’ll find a 17-foot beamed cathedral ceiling and a granite fireplace. Other highlights in the home include radiant heat, central air, an elevator, electric shutters, a security system, and a four-car garage.

On Tuesday, this four-bedroom, 3.5-bath, 3,275-square-foot condo in a South End church-turned-luxury building sold for $3,350,000. Located in the newly constructed glass tower, the unit offers a custom kitchen, gas fireplace, high ceilings, and a private terrace. There is garage parking for two cars. Building amenities include concierge services, a gym, a lounge, a common courtyard, and integrated high-tech home systems.
