Back Bay condo, Brookline estate top this week’s big home sales
A Cambridge Victorian and a waterfront home in Hingham also made our list. Check them out.
A 7,826-square-foot home in Brookline sold for $4,180,000, but it didn’t beat out a Back Bay condo that went for $5,600,000.
Two other large sales shouldn’t be overlooked: A Victorian in Cambridge sold for $4,125,000 and a waterfront home in Hingham went for $3,800,000.

This three-bedroom, 2.5-bath, 3,200-square-foot condo with Charles River and Cambridge views sold for $5,600,000 on Friday, Sept. 29. The unit boasts soundproof windows, direct elevator access, black-and-white marble flooring in the foyer, four fireplaces, a paneled library, and a dining room with a bow window. The family room features a beamed ceiling and custom bookcases. Two parking spaces are included with the unit.
106 Clinton Road, Brookline
On Tuesday, this Fisher Hill home with five bedroom suites, 6.5 baths, and 7,826 square feet of living space sold for $4,180,000. The home underwent a renovation that retained its historic charm. This brick home features a first-floor office with walls of glass, a den with a fireplace, and a third-floor studio. On the lower level, you’ll find media and fitness rooms and a kitchenette. The home sits on a 0.49-acre lushly landscaped parcel.
77 Lakeview Ave., Cambridge
This grand Victorian with six bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 4,501 square feet of living space is set on a 0.31-acre lot. The home sold for $4,125,000 on Friday, Sept. 29. Inside, the home features two living spaces and a fireplaced dining room with ceilings that are more than 10 feet high. In the kitchen, you’ll find high-end appliances, including double ovens, and lots of storage and windows. The home also offers a large third-floor office with built-in cherry cabinetry. The slate roof was replaced recently.
13 Martins Cove Road, Hingham
On Monday, this Shingle Style home with four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and 6,000 square feet of living space sold for $3,800,000. It is set on 0.91 acres with views of the harbor and the Boston skyline and near a private neighborhood beach. There is an open floor plan encompassing the kitchen and dining and living rooms. The finished lower level has a great room, an exercise space, and a full bath. Outside, there is a bluestone patio, a pool, a lighted sport court, and mature trees.
