A large town house in Back Bay went for $4.5 million-plus, while a single-family in Brookline sold for slightly below that at $4,200,000.
Continuing the multimillion dollar sales, a renovated Victorian in Newton sold for $3,500,000 and massive Brookline contemporary went for $3,161,000.

This four-bedroom, four-bath, two-half bath, 4,833-square-foot town house in Back Bay sold for $4,592,500 on Tuesday. The renovated home has plenty of historic charm still — such as marble floors, period fireplaces, and millwork — all mixed with modern amenities. The master suite takes up an entire floor, and there’s also a private patio and two deeded parking spaces.
105 Rockwood St., Brookline
On Wednesday, this stucco country home built in 1907 on 1.71 acres sold for $4,200,000. Featuring seven bedrooms, 5.5 baths, and 6,479 square feet of living space, this home was gutted and renovated from 2006 to 2008. The kitchen updates include a large center island, stainless-steel appliances, and granite countertops.
