Boston and Cambridge each had a $7 million home sale this week
The Boston area had quite the week for big home sales, with a Commonwealth Avenue condo going for $7.5 million and a Memorial Drive condo for $7.1 million.
36 Commonwealth Avenue, Unit 1 was in the news a few weeks ago, when Jeff Immelt, General Electric’s CEO, went under contract to make the multi-million dollar buy. Now the sale is officially closed.

Just steps from the ocean, this renovated three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 3,673-square-foot home sold for $3,200,000 on May 17, well over Manchester’s $792,800 median home value.
