Another luxury condo at 22 Liberty is up for resale without ever being occupied
22 Liberty, one of the Seaport District’s newest luxury buildings, has been sold out since June and opened for occupancy at the beginning of the year. But even before the building opened, owners were re-selling their units and turning a profit.
Now another condo, never lived in, is on the market.
As of the end of January, The Boston Globe reported, six of the 118 units had already been sold for a second time, and more were listed for sale. All six flippers made a profit on their resale.
22 Liberty Drive, Unit #5H has just been listed for $1.6 million, which is under the $2.9 million median sale price for the building that the Globe reported. According to Massachusetts Land Records, Unit #5H sold for $1.2 million back in November.
The unit has one bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, and 1,176 square feet of living space, including a den. It has floor-to-ceiling windows, oak floors, an open-concept layout, and Italian marble counters. There is also a private balcony with views of Boston Harbor.
The building is also not lacking in amenities, containing a fitness center, a catering kitchen, a large deck, and amazing views.
If you are looking for something a little larger, one of 22 Liberty’s penthouse units has been for sale for a little over a month. 22 Liberty Drive, Unit #PH1D is on the market for $5,799,000 and has three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and 2,383 square feet of living space.
