The 7 largest Boston rental developments completed in 2015

As cranes line the Boston skyline and new residental buildings continue to pop up, Boston gets closer to reaching Mayor Walsh’s goal of adding 53,000 new housing units to the city by 2030.

This year, Boston saw an influx of new rental buildings, many of which are luxury and give residents a variety of amenities.

RentCafe compiled 2015’s seven largest rental developments, which alone brought Boston more than 1,880 new housing units, ranging from ultra-luxury to low and middle income.

According to city data, a total of 3,241 housing units had been completed in Boston through the first three quarters of 2015.
