When rumors got out that Brian Piccini, who owns dbar, Boston Chops, and Deuxave, was putting his Savin Hill home up for sale, he started receiving offers for the 2,244-square-foot home in the mail, Metro Boston reported.

The interest was enough that the three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home was listed at $999,000. But, according to Metro, a bidding war pushed the price up, and the home is now under agreement for $1,010,000 – making it the first home in Dorchester to sell for seven figures.

Piccini’s recently renovated home at 92 Grampian Way is in the 19th century classic gambrel-style and is right across the street from Savin Hill Park.

It has an open floor plan, original detail, a stone porch overlooking the park, a backyard, a built-in sound system, a chef’s kitchen, and a two-car garage.
