If you have been to Boston’s Seaport neighborhood recently, you might have noticed that the skyline is filled with cranes.

The neighborhood is on the rise. In fact, there are more restaurant seats than homes in the Fort Point neighborhood at the moment. But this won’t be for long, as new construction is everywhere.

Case in point: Another large apartment complex is ready for renters, this one on Seaport Boulevard, across the street from the site of the mammoth One Seaport Square project, coming in 2017. Skanska USA Commercial Development and Twining Properties announced that their Watermark Seaport apartments are now available for pre-leasing

Watermark Seaport stands out in the Fort Point neighborhood it borders, which is otherwise filled with mostly converted industrial loft buildings.

The luxury high-rise at 85 Seaport Boulevard, which was announced in 2012, is a part of the larger Seaport Square project, which has the goal of filling in the large variety of parking lots in the neighborhood.
