It’s Official: Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen Sell Brentwood Mansion to Dr. Dre
A deal between the music mogul and the power couple was reported last month, but today the $40 million sale is official.
Last month, Dr. Dre reportedly had a deal in place to buy a 14,000 square-foot Brentwood, California mansion from Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. Today, that $40 million deal is official.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the sale became official today, with Dr. Dre spending some of the money he received in the $3 billion sale of Beats Electronics to Apple.
The home had been originally listed for $50 million dollars and was on the market for almost two months before news of the deal was first reported. Brady and Bundchen originally purchased the land in 2008 for just $11.75 million and spent the next four years building the house.
The power couple decided to sell the home as part of their plan to live on the East Coast full-time – a plan that likely includes a large amount of time spent at the Brookline, Massachusetts mansion they have been constructing and hope to complete this summer.
