If this East Boston condo had a theme song, it might be “Just One Look” (the Linda Ronstadt version; sorry Doris Troy fans).
It’s located on the second floor of the Slip65 condo complex — completed in 2019 — on the Clippership Wharf in East Boston. The look that makes one break out into song appears immediately upon entering: A slider opens to a 64-square-foot private balcony above Boston Harbor.

The slider sits at the end of an open floor plan that starts with the 48-square-foot entry hallway with two closets on the right.
Almost directly opposite is the opening into the U-shaped kitchen. It’s 89 square feet with a contemporary tone. The white cabinets have a glossy finish and are full height to increase storage. The countertops are white quartz, and there is a peninsula with a waterfall edge that creates seating for two. Two brushed nickel pendant lights are suspended above it. The backsplash is white subway tile in a horizontal layout, and appliances — including the gas range — are stainless steel.
The living/dining room is the final piece of the open floor space. It’s 237 square feet and has more of the recessed lights scattered around the unit. The flooring here is hardwood that is also used in the remainder of the home, except for the bath.
The room ends in the slider and motorized shades that are also installed in the bedroom.
At the beginning of the living/dining area, there is an 8-foot-long hallway on the right. Along it is the bath on the right, the bedroom on the left, and a full-size laundry closet with a slotted door directly ahead.
The full bath has a white double vanity, while the counter and cabinet are ivory-toned. The shower door is clear glass, and the floor and backsplash are also white. The shower backsplash has subway tiles in a vertical stack design. Between the vanity and shower, the flooring is tile.

Like the living room, the bedroom has a view to thrill, compliments of a large double-panel casement window. The left panel is fixed, maximizing waterfront views, and the right swings out to let in the ocean breeze.
The 121-square-foot bedroom has two closets just as one steps into the space. The one on the right is a walk-in with built-in shelving in the 25-square-foot space.
Amenities include 24/7 concierge, a fitness center, grilling patios, a dog park, and storage for bikes and kayaks. A parking space can be purchased separately.
