The six-room town house — 96 Beacon St., Unit 2 — sold for $5,200,000 on Wednesday, Feb. 5. George Ballantyne of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing.
The Beacon Hill building dates to the 20th century and was converted into four condos. Renovated by Hickox Williams Architects in 2016, Unit 2 offers three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and one half bathroom.
Its open-concept living-dining space gives off a classical European air, with its ornate molding, stately marble fireplace, beautiful sconces and chandelier, and French windows and doors. The kitchen looks sleek and crisp in white, with a tile backsplash and marble counters.
The master suite offers built-ins, and a curved staircase connects the two floors of this 2,831-square-foot residence. There’s also an office, private terrace, courtyard, garage parking, and hardwood floors throughout.
