Overlooking Boston’s Public Garden and encompassing one full floor, the priciest sale for the first week of 2020 was a three-bedroom, three-bathroom Back Bay brownstone, according to the Multiple Listing Service. It sold for an even $5,000,000 on Friday, Jan. 3.
Tracy Campion of Campion & Company handled the sale of 4-5 Arlington St., Unit 4. Situated on the upper floor of the building, the unit is accessible by elevator and offers 2,567 square feet of living space. Guests are welcomed into the luxurious condo by a grand column-lined foyer, which leads into formal living and dining rooms. Here, there are five arched windows perfect for enjoying the view of the Public Garden, as well as lofty ceilings and elaborate molding.
A gentle right turn leads into a cozier part of the home — an eat-in kitchen and a family room with an abundance of bookshelves, custom built-ins, and space for entertaining. For those looking to spend some time solo, the home also includes a room that can serve as an office or library, with an adjacent sitting room and full bathroom.
The sale included one garage parking spot.
