Step into the expansive lobby, where there are office spaces that open into a solarium. To the left is a club lounge with a rentable demo kitchen that provides views of the courtyard. To the right, the great room features pool and shuffleboard tables in a lounge-like space.

“You can just sit there, enjoy your cup of coffee, enjoy the courtyard views,” said Alexa Ciulla, senior community manager at the Everett development’s property management firm, Greystar.

A Bluetooth keyless touchpad provides a secure entry to Unit 133, which welcomes guests with natural light that streams in through the living area picture window. Upon entry to the first-floor unit, you’ll find a coat closet on the left and the 50-square-foot kitchen to the right. The latter features soft-close cabinetry (navy lowers and soft-white uppers) with gold handles, complemented by a gray tile backsplash. Energy-efficient, stainless steel General Electric appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave, are nestled between or under quartz countertops. Under-cabinet lighting makes cooking easier, while recessed ceiling lighting runs overhead. The kitchen space, which features silver faucets and luxury vinyl plank flooring that continues into the living area, is large enough to feature a butcher’s block or mobile island that accommodates bar seating.

“There’s so much extra space,” Ciulla said. “It’s essentially an open flex room for you.”

To the immediate right of the kitchen, there are two more closets. The first contains the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, while the second holds the stackable washer/dryer.

The living room offers a view of Boston Street, while a select few units can see the Boston skyline in the distance. The 158-square-foot space is an ideal spot for sitting on the couch and watching TV on a lazy weekend morning.

A doorway off the living area goes to the 154-square-foot primary suite, which has the same picture windows as the living room. Plush cream-colored carpet continues into the walk-through closet, which measures 44 square feet and opens into the shower-only en-suite bath. You can also access this bath from the foyer. It comes with tile flooring, recessed lighting, a single white vanity topped with quartz, and a shower with a white subway tile surround.

The entrance to the second suite is on the other side of the living room. Measuring 105 square feet, it has a window and a 39-square-foot walk-through closet that leads to the en-suite bathroom. The bath has the same features but comes with a full tub instead of a standalone shower.

You’ll need it after working out in the development’s modern fitness center, which has a yoga studio and a private room to schedule spa or massage treatments. There also will be weekly fitness classes, and a golf simulator on-site offers the chance to improve your swing. (It also can be programmed to play video games.) The pet spa features a washer and dryer for cleaning up after you pamper your furry residents. (They charge pet rent: $75 a month for dogs and $50 a month for cats.) The bicycle and repair area includes custom rentable bikes, while private on-site coworking stations and a podcast studio offer options for getting work done. A maker’s space is equipped with paints, canvases, and tables.

“You can really go in there and just be a DIY-er essentially,” Ciulla said.

A smart package room features scannable QR-code entry. A laser will beam down to where your package is, removing the need to sift through boxes. It also has cold storage for grocery delivery.

A center courtyard anchors the Maxwell and features a swimming pool. It also has an outdoor movie space, seating, and fire pits. There is 6,450 square feet of ground-floor retail space that is currently vacant. A 455-space parking garage is available for a monthly cost of $125 per spot. It boasts a street-facing mural from Portland, Maine, artist Jenna Pirello.

The Everett Triangle neighborhood includes the Mason building next door. There will be two residential buildings across the street: Jade will begin pre-leasing in 2025, and Juniper is slated for completion in 2026. The Chelsea MBTA station, which services the Silver Line and the commuter rail, is about a mile from the Maxwell.

“The overall brand and aesthetic of the building is supposed to be very relaxing and calm,” Ciulla said. “We’re all about kind of finding your center and taking a breath outside of the Boston area while still being super close in proximity.”
