An architect would call the main entry to this Pinehills home in Plymouth a center entrance, but since it’s on a street named for boat builders, let’s call it mid-boat.
The door opens to a landing with stairs to the partially finished basement or up to the first level, where an open floor plan with recessed lighting, crown molding, and oak flooring awaits. Up here, the 66-square-foot dining area is snuggled into a substantial windowed bump-out. A circular light fixture identifies the best spot for the table.

Steps away is the kitchen, which befitting its importance, is nearly double the size of the dining area. The 8-foot-long island, topped with reclaimed wood, is the star. The island, which sits under three black industrial-style pendant lights, offers seating for four-plus, as well as storage and a black farmer’s sink.
Wood cabinets, some with glass doors, line the wall beyond it. The counters are black Silestone, and the appliances, including the gas stove, are stainless steel. You can tuck your salad spinner away in the pantry, along with the Halloween candy you’ve hidden.
Slip a Twix into your pocket and head to the living area, a 210-square-foot space. There are two outstanding features to note: a gas fireplace that runs floor to ceiling in millwork painted a sea green and sliders to a private composite deck.

If you head back through the kitchen, you’ll find a small hall that moves past the central stairs toward the primary suite, the half bath, and the laundry room.
The half bath of this Plymouth home features a porcelain pedestal sink, a baroque-style gold-framed mirror, crown molding, oak flooring, and wedgwood blue walls.
The laundry room offers dark gray (nearly black) cabinetry and pretty wood shelving above the full front-loading washer and dryer. The walls and ceiling are painted a light bluish-gray.

The primary suite is the final stop on this level. The bedroom is 182 square feet and has oak flooring, crown molding, recessed lighting, and a drum shade light. Other highlights include four windows, oak flooring, a walk-in closet, and an en-suite bath that has a double vanity, a granite countertop, hardwood flooring, a linen closet, and a shower behind glass doors.

The second floor holds the second bedroom, the second full bath, and a loft. The bedroom has a pair of double-hung windows with shutters, recessed lighting, oak floors, and crown molding. It clocks in at 144 square feet.
The bath offers a tub/shower insert, a single vanity topped with granite, and ceramic tile flooring.
The loft is 135 square feet and comes with a set of windows and engineered hardwood flooring.

The basement (359 square feet) has a half bath and a carpeted bonus room with recessed lighting and a chair rail.

The home also offers gas heat, central air, and a two-car garage with a single door.
