It’s the pinnacle, the apex, the top. This two-bedroom condo in a recently renovated three-family is an aerie three flights up.

The first step is into a living/dining area that allows one to look down a wide hallway to the kitchen. The floors are refinished hardwood with an English chestnut stain, flooring believed to be original to the home. Wainscot rings the living/dining area and the hallway to the kitchen, and the home is dotted with recessed LED lighting and wired for surround sound.

As with any top-floor unit, the space is shaped by the roofline. Framed by angled walls and high ceilings, the living area seems like a peaceful grotto. A recess currently holds a table for four.

To the right of the living room is the first of two bedrooms, an L-shaped space with a pair of windows looking out to the street and an adequate closet.

The master bedroom has a sharply angled ceiling, but that does not take away from the space’s airy feeling. The closet is standard.

A few steps farther down the hall and on the left is a full bath with a barn-style vanity door and a creamy quartz countertop. There is a rectangular skylight and a long shower. The flooring and shower surround are ceramic tile.

The unit ends in a kitchen with a high-end five-burner gas stove. All of the appliances are stainless steel. The white Shaker cabinets have soft-close drawers and doors. The Calacatta classique quartz counters are reminiscent of vanilla soft serve ice cream (it’s the best). A peninsula offers seating for two, and the 3-by-6 subway tile backsplash makes a visual statement with gray grout.

A door just beyond the counter opens to a private rear deck that sits above many neighboring rooflines, creating a nice view to accompany coffee mornings.

The condo has an in-unit laundry setup and gets one parking spot in the driveway. Each condo in the three-unit building has separate utilities and storage areas in the basement.

The home is less than a 10-minute walk to Bellevue Station on the commuter rail.

Mike McGuire of Insight Realty Group in West Roxbury is the broker.
