It’s the kind that calls for a rocking chair, but at 180 square feet, and given that it runs the width of this American Foursquare, the enclosed porch of this Everett home has room enough for a quartet of rockers.

Step inside the home, and the foyer opens to the largest space on this floor — the living room. At 196 square feet, it now has a large sectional and gets light from a set of double windows overlooking the street and the porch and a single window with views of the driveway. A domed fixture lights the space at night.

The living room flows into the formal dining room, where a bank of two windows ensures meals are bright. In one corner is a nice piece that’s original to the house — a built-in china cabinet with clear-glass doors above a set of drawers.

The foyer and living and dining rooms all have hardwood floors.

In the kitchen, however, there’s ceramic tile. The cabinets are oak topped with light-colored granite. The sink is positioned nicely in front of a double bank of windows. The appliances, including the gas stove, are stainless steel.

There is a half bath off the kitchen.

The bedrooms are on the second floor, and they are reached via a stairwell in the foyer that winds past a rectangular window. There is one full bath with a porcelain vanity atop a mahogany cabinet and a tub/shower combination with a ceramic tile surround. The flooring is ceramic tile as well.

Because this a Foursquare, the three bedrooms are very similar in size. The largest, at 144 square feet, is considered the master bedroom. It has two large windows for light and a decent closet.

The other two bedrooms are mirror images of the master. A fourth room is currently set up as an office. The flooring in the bedrooms is hardwood.

The laundry sits in the basement, which is partially finished. The backyard of this 0.1-acre property is terraced. The home experiences “slight seepage’’ in the basement during heavy rain, according to the listing.

Todd Denman of the Santana Properties Team at Keller Williams Realty in Cambridge is the listing agent. The team’s website is www.santanapropertiesteam.com. As of press time, an offer had been accepted on this home.
