This eight-bedroom, 9.5-bath contemporary with 20,043 square feet of living space was listed for $3,295,000 when we featured it on Jan. 11. Along with the regulation-size basketball court, the home also has a covered water slide leading into a pool with a freshwater fish tank. (Status: Not on the market)

Translucent panels play with natural light in modern Canton one-story

This three-bedroom, two-bath modern home in Canton was listed for $1,125,000 when Home of the Week reporter John R. Ellement wrote about it on Feb. 13. Set on a 1.85-acre lot, the 4,038-square-foot home offers a unique design, featuring a series of boxes wrapped in copper-colored aluminum, shiny steel, and walls of opaque fiberglass panels. (Status: It sold for $1,000,000 on June 27, according to Redfin.)

14 Skinners Path, Marblehead

Featured on March 21, this two-bedroom, 1.5-bath, 1,200-square-foot condo was listed for $799,000. The updated unit features a kitchen with cherry cabinets and water views throughout. (Status: The unit sold for $740,000, according to the Multiple Listing Service, or MLS.)

Archways, stained-glass define style in condo unit in former South Boston church

45 West Broadway, Unit 301, South Boston

This church-turned-condo offers one bedroom, 1 bath, and 877 square feet of living space. It was listed for $688,000 when we featured it on May 30. This third-floor condo is part of what was once Saints Peter and Paul Church in South Boston, so it features archways and stained-glass windows. (Status: The unit sold for $695,000, according to MLS.)

When we wrote about this building on June 6, it featured studios starting at $1,845, 1 bedrooms from $2,100, 1 bedrooms with a den from $2,445, and 2 bedrooms from $2,675. The model unit we photographed was listed for $3,405 per month. The M-shaped complex has 230 units, many with a balcony, clustered in three connected buildings. (Status: Still accepting rental applications)

Colonial once featured on ‘This Old House’ was dismantled, relocated, and rebuilt in Sherborn

148 Farm Road, Sherborn

This three-bedroom, four-bath, 3,854-square-foot antique Colonial was built in 1780 and moved in 1983. When we wrote about it on June 13, it was listed for $1,975,000. In 1983, this house, which was sitting unoccupied and dilapidated in Blackstone, was taken apart, board by board, and reconstructed on its current site. The home, which starred in a “This Old House” episode during its relocation, sits on a 4.58-acre lot. (Status: It sold for $1,575,000 on Sept. 29, according to Redfin.)

Fly to the Cape — and into the garage

18 Smilin Jack Lane, East Falmouth

This Colonial with four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and 4,600 square feet of living space was listed for $949,000 when we wrote about it on Sept. 9. The home is in Falmouth Airpark, the only public place in the state where homeowners can land, taxi to their house and into the hangar/garage, and then walk inside their home. Inside the house, there are Spanish carvings, Greek columns, and artistry with paint and needles. The home is set on a 0.39-acre lot. (Status: Off the market)

Meriel Marina Bay, 552 Victory Road, Quincy

When we wrote about this building on Sept. 11, it featured studios from $2,100, one bedrooms with one bath from $2,300, one bedrooms with one bath and a den from $2,900, two bedrooms with two baths from $3,300, and three bedrooms with two baths from $3,800. The rent for the model unit featured here was $3,511. The complex will have 352 units. (Status: Still accepting rental applications)

1 Nassau St., Unit 2208, Chinatown

This two-bedroom, 2.5-bath, 1,543-square-foot condo was listed for $1,495,000 when we wrote about it on Sept. 19. This luxurious penthouse offers views of Boston Harbor, the Southeast Expressway, and Blue Hills. The unit comes with 24-hour concierge service, and there’s a single valet parking space, which costs an additional $103 a month. (Status: The home is still on the market, listed for $1,375,000.)

Dairy barn-turned-home boasts 30-foot-plus ceiling, only 1 interior door

76 Heywood Road, Sterling

Set on a 3.87-acre lot, this four-bedroom, 5.5-bath, 5,556-square-foot barn-turned-home was built in 1850 and converted in 2008. When we wrote about it on Oct. 10, it was listed for $925,000. Inside, you’ll find exposed wooden beams, high ceilings, and a polished poured-concrete floor. (Status: Under agreement, according to several listing websites.)
