If waking up right on the ocean is your dream, grab your flip-flops and beach towel. This Winthrop condo could be your dream home.
Listed at $299,000, 203 Winthrop Shore Drive Apartment 8 is a one-bed, one-bath condo measuring 764 square feet. Located on the fourth floor of an eight-unit building that was constructed in 1900 and converted to condos in 2004, the unit provides stunning views of Winthrop Beach.
Climb up a series of steps to the common entrance, which is on the side of the building. Then head up several flights of stairs to the unit’s entrance, which welcomes you in the 142-square-foot living room that was freshly painted this year. Featuring oak floors, a vaulted ceiling, and oversized beams, the space has a ceiling fan that will provide additional breezes during the summer. The living room has a trio of windows that stream in natural light off the ocean. It also has a closet.

“It has a great water view from the living room,” said Charles Roderick of eXp Realty, who has the listing.
Continue down the hallway to the 95-square-foot kitchen, which features white cabinetry and laminate countertops. Compact stainless steel appliances, which were purchased in 2018, include a dishwasher, an electric range, and a refrigerator. A single window provides plenty of natural light, and the kitchen also provides a second exit through the back staircase.
Next door is the bathroom, which features a gray tiled shower that includes a seated area inside. There’s a white vanity and a single window.
White French doors open to the corner bedroom, a 225-square-foot space with two bright windows with south and west exposures. The window with a western exposure reveals the skyline of downtown Boston at a distance. The bedroom also has a closet.
The home has a monthly HOA fee of $442, which includes flood insurance. In the basement, you’ll find community coin-operated washers and dryers, and the unit’s separate storage space, which Roderick estimates measures around 30 square feet. The unit comes with one off-street parking space, and guest parking is also available. If driving isn’t your thing, Winthrop has several MBTA bus lines that connect to downtown Boston. And of course, seasonal ferry service kicks off for 2025 later this month.
