Rising home prices in Greater Boston don’t seem like they are going to ease up anytime soon. Even if interest rates dip in 2024, the cost of a home is still expected to increase, The Boston Globe reported in December.
Low inventory may wear down buyers looking for deals at a time when prices are high: In December, the median sales price of Greater Boston single-family homes increased year over year by 10.2% to $699,900, according to a report from The Warren Group.
