Listed: For $2.75m, a Bay Village town house that will embrace the outdoors
The 1,872-square-foot home, one of four similar properties under construction in the area, will offer three bedrooms and 2.5 baths.
It is a season for outdoor spaces, and this Bay Village town house offers multiple. Once completed, the to-be-built three-story home at 134 Arlington St. will include both a ground-floor patio (with gas, water, and electric hookups) and a spacious roof deck, perfect for basking in sun.
The 1,872-square-foot home, one of four similar properties under construction in the area, will offer three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. It hit the market March 18 for $2,750,000, and will be completed by the end of the year, listing agent Ricardo Rodriguez of Coldwell Banker Realty said.
Though the city’s smallest neighborhood is known for its charming brownstones and tree-lined streets, this property will strike a more modern chord. The kitchen, living room, and dining room will share an open floor plan, brightened with white walls and white-oak floors. White is a theme throughout the space, with quartz on the island and countertops, white cabinets, and white paneling on the refrigerator in the kitchen.
The theme will continue in the living room, where a gas fireplace will feature a white stone surround and white built-in shelving. The glass doors to the patio in the corner of this room will allow natural light to brighten the space even further.
Upstairs, the primary suite is set to include a walk-in closet, and the en-suite bath will feature marble floors and walls, a spacious standalone shower, and a quartz-topped vanity with two sinks. A multi-use den, office, or playroom space will make up the remainder of the second floor, with two additional bedrooms connected by a bathroom on the third.
Parking won’t be an issue for buyers, at least when they first move in. The property is being sold with a valet service that will pick up and deliver the owner’s vehicle to the front door. The service will be prepaid for a period of time, Rodriguez said, after which residents can decide whether they’d like to pay to renew it.
