With a columned, pedimented entrance and custom carriage garage doors, 41 McCallar Lane in Concord boldly blends Greek revival style with farmhouse finishes. The result? A home that is equal parts striking and warm.

The to-be-built home is the third of four properties which will make up “Hosmer Meadows,” a private community less than a mile from Concord Center. It’s scheduled to be completed in May, listing agent Chris Ridick of Compass said, with the fourth home to come by the end of the year.

When finished, the $3,695,000 home will come out to an estimated 5,115 square feet, with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.

The floors on each of the three levels of the home will be wide oak plank. White shiplap walls and exposed wood beamed ceilings sprinkled throughout will highlight the farmhouse side of the home’s style.

The first floor will be home to an open kitchen, living room and dining room space, as well as a private home office, mudroom, and half bath. A gas fireplace will give the open living room space a cozier feel. A french door lets out onto the spacious, mahogany deck. The kitchen will feature many modern amenities, including marble-look quartz countertops, a walk-in pantry with its own sink, a built-in wine tower and wine cooler, and an island with a built-in butchers block and a farmhouse sink.

A cupola above the curving staircase in the center of the home will let natural light pour in during the day, and a chandelier hanging from the structure will keep things bright after sunset.

“If you look up from the first floor, you can see all the way to the top of the cupola, and it lights up at night,” Ridick said. Combined with the shiplap walls of the stairwell, it gives the space “that New England barn feel.”

The laundry room and four bedrooms will be on the second floor, including a primary bedroom with a gas fireplace, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom with a shower, soaking tub, and vanity with quartz countertops and two sinks.

The other three bedrooms will also have full ensuite bathrooms with wood floors and subway tile showers or combination shower/bathtubs, accented with decorative tiles and Serena and Lily wallpaper.

What the walk-out finished basement is used for will be up to the buyer. There’s a half bath, and room for an exercise area, as well as a media room or game room, Ridick said.

There’s room for two cars in the garage, and at least three more in the paved driveway. Once completed, the four homes on the private road will be a part of a Homeowners’ Association with a private well on the premises for residents to use to water their lawns and plants, according to the neighborhood’s website.
