With construction wrapping up mid-2022, a buyer has plenty of time to add their own touches to a luxury contemporary at 45 Claremont St. in Newton.

The floors throughout are white oak, Matskevich said, and the kitchen and bathroom counters will be quartz with a marble-like look.

“We like the marble, but we don’t like how quickly it stains, so we use quartz in places where there’s potential for staining,” Matskevich said.

The six bedrooms are on the second floor, including the primary bedroom which will have dual closets, a beverage station with a mini fridge and coffee machine, and a private deck facing the backyard. The en suite bathroom in this room will feature a massive steam shower with two shower heads, a bathtub, and a vanity with two sinks.

Featuring close to 2,700 square feet of yet-to-be-finished basement space, there’s potential to add a home gym, theater room, wine cellar, or whatever other kind of room one can imagine.

The home is pet-friendly, Matskevich said, and is being built with a doggie shower in the three-car garage. There’s also room for at least six cars on the 0.49 acre property, according to the listing.

Those looking to customize the home don’t have to stop with the interior. Outside, the backyard is a flat 85 by 110 square feet, and could be ideal for a pool or small basketball court, the listing says.
