Biggest sales: A sleek condo in a Back Bay hotel for $3.6 million
One of last week’s biggest home sales on the Multiple Listing Service is in a five-star hotel and comes with all the pluses of resort-style living.
776 Boylston St., Unit E-9H, is the proper address, but this residence is tucked in Boston’s Mandarin Oriental hotel. DeRocker & Khoury of Compass sold the condo for $3,668,560 on Thursday, July 11. The 1,906-square-foot residence offers two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bathroom, and amenities associated with a stay at the award-winning hotel. These include 24-hour concierge service, on-site management, security, a doorman, room service, a fitness center, and direct elevator access to the hotel spa and the Prudential Center.
In the unit itself, the living and dining space is lined with south-facing tall windows and features a floor-to-ceiling marble fireplace. Wide-plank, dark hardwood floors are installed throughout the residence. The kitchen is stocked with high-end cabinetry and appliances, including a paneled refrigerator and a wine cooler.
Both bedrooms boast en-suite bathrooms.
The sale also included one assigned parking spot and storage.
