A train leaving Wickford Junction in North Kingston at 6:35 a.m. on a weekday will get you into South Station in an hour and 41 minutes, according to the timetable. A train leaving Providence Station at 6 a.m. will get you there in an hour and 5 minutes. And a train leaving Stoughton Station at 6:20 a.m. will get you there in 38 minutes.
If you drive leaving at the same time on a Monday from North Kingston, Google estimates it could take between an hour and 25 minutes to as much as two hours and 20 minutes to get to Boston. From Providence, it could take an hour and 10 minutes to as much as an hour and 50 minutes. From Stoughton, it could take an hour and 10 minutes to as much as two hours.
