6 homes for under $500,000 along the Needham commuter rail line
From a two-bedroom, two-bath home for $379,000 in Needham to a 370-square-foot studio in Back Bay for $499,000.
Needham is one of the least-busy commuter rail lines, according to a recent MBTA report, but that is not to downplay the time savings it can provide on a traffic-filled Monday morning commute.
If you take the Needham line, you can get to Boston’s South Station in just 45 minutes, according to the timetable. If you decide to drive, Google estimates that on a Monday morning it could take anywhere from 35 minutes to an hour and 10 minutes.
