Two condos in the same building sold for over $5 million this week
It’s not every week that a home sale in Boston breaks $5 million, but this week it happened twice — in the same building.
The recently renovated Residences at the Harvard Club has five condo units and overlooks the Commonwealth Avenue Mall. Two of them sold this week.
380 Commonwealth Avenue, Unit 5 sold for $5,350,000 and is a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom penthouse duplex with 2,952 square feet of living space. It has a large terrace, state of the art kitchen, direct elevator access, and two deeded parking spaces with valet services. Residents also have access to the Harvard Club.
380 Commonwealth Avenue, Unit 2 sold for slightly less, at $5,200,000, and also has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. This unit is all on one floor and not a penthouse, though it has slightly more living space with 2,966 square feet. This unit has a rear balcony and the same amenities as the other condo.
But other Greater Boston suburbs didn’t do half bad either with plenty of multi-million dollar sales this week.
Two more homes sold for about $4 million: A new Colonial in Wellesley and a condo in Boston. The Wellesley home at 57 Valley Road has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, 7,200 square feet of living space, and almost a completely custom design. The Boston condo in The Clarendon luxury building has 1,958 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and lots of city views.
Larges homes in Weston and Cambridge also each sold for just over $3 million.
