This week the Greater Boston real estate market was at its most stereotypical. Four of the five biggest sales were condos in Boston proper, all in the South End, Back Bay, and Beacon Hill. The only home that bucked the trend was this one in Brookline that went for $3,545,000.

Check out the condos that went big this week.

300 Boylston Street, Unit 1206, Back Bay, Boston

It is hard to beat the views from this two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 2,440-square-foot penthouse condo at The Heritage on the Garden, which borders the Boston Public Garden. It sold for $5,250,000 on June 15, above Back Bay’s $871,000 median home value. The unit has been renovated to have top of the line appliances, custom closets and built-ins, and a private patio. Plus there are lots of building-wide amenities.
