Spacious homes in Newton and Lexington are this week’s priciest pads
Though the suburbs and Boston didn’t have as many mega sales as last week, there were still quite a few sales that broke the million dollar mark, including two in the suburbs that broke $2 million and one on Boston that got close. Check them out.


This 4,747-square-foot home with five bedrooms and four bathrooms sold for $2,150,000 on March 22, well above Lexington’s $915,000 median closing price. The 1913 home has period details, built-in bookcases and benches, a library and a music room, a modern kitchen, and large outdoor entertaining spaces.


On March 18, this home with six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and 4,220 square feet of living space sold for $2,060,000, above Newton’s $888,000 median closing price. The home is a new construction in the Colonial style and has an open floor plan, a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast nook, a finished lower level, and a two-car attached garage.

This 1,877-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo sold on March 18 for $1,930,000, above Back Bay’s $1.2 million median closing price. The condo has direct elevator access, garage parking, large windows, high ceilings, a corner living room, and an open concept kitchen.
