The Bartlett in Brookline is so new it hasn’t even been completed.

When this 24-unit building in Washington Square, composed of two- and three-bedroom condominiums, is completed in September 2025, Unit 403, our Home of the Week, will be one of the crown jewels that boasts a clean design and impeccable finishes.

Bartlett Crescent is a quiet road off bustling Washington Street. The lobby will be home to the mail area and the elevators. (At this time, it is not known whether the building will have concierge service.) It will be an elevator ride to the fourth floor, where a few steps to the right will take you to Unit 403.

Upon entering the condo, you’ll find a 37-square-foot coat closet to your left. Move farther inside to the combined kitchen and living area, which will clock in at a total of 677 square feet and have 9-foot ceilings. Windows constructed in Poland will stream in natural light from the north and west exposures.

“It really gives you an open, airy feeling,” said Karen Kennedy of the Kennedy Lynch Gold Team at Hammond Real Estate, who shares the listing with Sandra Lynch and Marjorie Gold.

Engineered hardwood floors will run throughout much of the home, except for the bathrooms and laundry.

In the kitchen, an island with space for several bar seats will be topped with quartz. Pendant lights and recessed lighting will help you keep your pots and pans spotless. No desire to do the dishes? The stainless steel Bosch appliances will include a dishwasher, built-in microwave, 30-inch single-wall oven, a refrigerator, and an induction stove. The white cabinetry will boast Italian materials and design.

In the living area, oversized windows will flank an electric fireplace. Relax in cozy warmth as you watch the winter snows blanket Brookline a few months after move-in.

“When you’re in the living room, you’re also part of the kitchen, so it’s nice for entertaining,” Gold said.

The corner primary suite, found off the living area, will measure 158 square feet, including the 22-square-foot entryway. To the right will be a walk-in closet (27 square feet). Boasting three windows, the primary suite also will have a luxurious bathroom featuring a shower, a rimless Hansgrohe toilet, light-colored tile floors, a floating single vanity, and fixtures with chrome finishes.

The second bedroom, which will measure more than 136 square feet, will have one window and a walk-in closet of its own. Across the hall, there will be the second bathroom, which will have the same Hansgrohe toilet, tile floors, vanity, and chrome finishes. This bathroom has a tub.

The hallway will be home to the 36-square-foot laundry space, which will be equipped with new appliances. There will be additional closet space on the opposite side.

The design calls for an 80-square-foot office/den space that could function as a small bedroom. There will be a triangle-shaped pantry of 61 square feet right next door, ready for mid-workday snacking. The unit also will come with an intercom should you order out for food.

Unit 403 will have exclusive rights to a terrace across from the entrance.

The pet-friendly building by Westview Partners will come with one garage parking space equipped with an electric vehicle charger, but the building is 0.3 miles from the Green Line. There also will be a place for bikes, as well as additional storage areas available in the basement for $1,750 a month.

“I think the greatest features are you have one-floor living in an elevator building with direct garage access,” Kennedy said. “You can walk to Whole Foods. You could walk to basically everything you need because you are near the T.”
