The behemoth deck atop this Plymouth home takes up its entire roof, a plus given that the three-room house sits on a peninsula in Big Sandy Pond.

Listing agent Beth Isenor of Real Estate Options 153/Mullen & Partners said the current owners spend practically all summer enjoying their roof deck, eating nearly every meal up there.

The 1,080-square-foot house isn’t heated, so it’s a three-season home. Isenor said 100 Gunning Point Road’s lower level was once a hunting cabin.

Boating is allowed on the kettle pond. “It was so peaceful I literally didn’t want to leave,” Isenor said, recalling her first visit to the property. Hydrangeas, rhododendrons, blueberry bushes, and more add to the serenity.

The updated kitchen features maple cabinets, granite counters, pocket doors, and locally milled fir flooring. The windows and siding are new, and the ceilings are clad in wood.

The one-bedroom, one-bath home is on the market for $795,000. It sits on nearly two acres with 727 feet of shoreline.
