The street name “Skating Pond Road” is spot on, and this Weston property will be just steps from that namesake.

When completed by builder Kenneth Stevens Custom Homes, 18 Skating Pond Road will offer 12,000 square feet of space, five bedrooms, and 6.5 baths. It will feature a family room with a cathedral ceiling of herringbone-pattern oak, as well as millwork, an oak library, a home theater, a gym, and a three-car garage.

According to the listing, the buyer will have the opportunity to customize, including adding a two-level barn and a pool.

The 17-room hilltop home on 3.04 acres, listed by Kathryn Richlen of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, is on the market for $8,750,000.
