A condo and a single-family here sold for $8,850,000 and $8,000,000, respectively. Other large sales in the area include a three-bedroom condo in Back Bay for $4,750,000 and a massive brick Colonial in Brookline for $3,800,000.

This three-bedroom, 3.5-bath, 3,583-square-foot condo in a boutique building with only six total units sold for $8,850,000 on Tuesday. The condo boasts three exposures, streaming in natural light, along with top-of-the-line finishes. Building amenities include valet garage parking for two cars, a 24-hour doorman, direct elevator access, storage rooms, bike storage, a wine cellar, and a fitness room.
6 Mount Vernon Place, Beacon Hill
On Tuesday, this five-story, six-bedroom, 6.5-bath, 7,500-square-foot single-family sold for $8,000,000. The home needs to be renovated, and the listing indicates that development would start once there was a buyer, who could choose the floor plan and finishes. The corner-lot home boasts views on three sides, a deck overlooking the Public Garden, and assigned outdoor parking. The home sits on a 0.06-acre lot.
168 Beacon St., Unit 1, Back Bay
Featuring three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 3,105 square feet of living space, this updated duplex sold for $4,750,000 on Wednesday. The bedrooms are on the garden level, where you will also find a courtyard garden connected to the master, which has a five-piece marble bath and multiple closets. The unit also comes with two garage parking spaces.
265 Woodland Road, Brookline
Set on a 0.48-acre lot, this six-bedroom, 6.5-bath, 7,086-square-foot brick Colonial sold for $3,800,000 on Friday, Sept. 22. The home boasts an open floor plan, oak hardwood floors throughout, a sitting room with a wood-burning fireplace, a family room with a gas-burning fireplace, and a kitchen with a large center island and a breakfast nook. Upstairs, the master suite offers double walk-in closets, a soaking tub, and a glass-enclosed steam shower. There is also a finished lower level and several patios.
