This Brookline estate sits on 14 acres and just hit the market for $90 million (yep, $90 million)
Just when you thought the Boston area real estate market couldn’t possibly get any crazier…
The Woodland Manor just hit the market for $90 million. Yes, $90 million dollars. You could buy almost three Millennium Tower penthouses with that kinda cash.
What makes this home worth the insane price tag? It sits on 14 acres of land in one of Boston’s most expensive suburbs and has 26,623 square feet of living space.
The home’s driveway alone is a third of a mile long, meaning the property is super-private, even though it’s only five miles from Boston.
The eight-bedroom, seven-bathroom, five half-bathroom home was built in 2000 for the current owners, Paul and Phyllis Fireman. Fireman is the founder of Reebok and is now a chairman of Fireman Capital Partners.
“This has been our home for the last 16 years and we’ve enjoyed many joyful gatherings with families and friends here,” Paul Fireman said in a statement. “We took a significant amount of time to carefully create and design a home for day-to-day living, as well as casual and formal entertaining. It has truly served as our sanctuary and we will treasure our experiences and memories of this home.”
