Former Liberian president Moses Blah dies
GANTA, Liberia — Officials say that Moses Blah, the man who served as Liberia’s president for two months after Charles Taylor stepped down, has died in his mid-60s.
Mr. Blah died of a medical condition Monday at the John F. Kennedy Hospital Medical Center in Monrovia.
Mr. Blah had recently complained of heart troubles.
Mr. Blah was vice president until Taylor stepped down on Aug. 11, 2003. A former ambassador to Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia, Mr. Blah served for two months as president.
