Uber just released a Boston restaurant guide
The ride-hailing company used trip data to find the most popular eateries in the city.
Wondering where you should eat on date-night? In addition to helping you get there, ride-hailing company Uber has some suggestions in its newly released restaurant guide. The company delved into its trip data to identify the most popular haunts in several dining categories for 12 cities across the country, including Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Florida, and Dallas. For the guides, released Thursday, the top 10 dining choices were selected in six categories: most popular, local favorites, up-and-coming, brunch spots, weekend picks, and date-night destinations. In Boston, Legal Harborside – Floor 2 came in as the most popular restaurant among Uber customers, while South Street Diner was named as the No. 1 favorite for locals. According to Uber, the most up-and-coming spot in the city, with the greatest increase in requests, is T. Anthony’s Pizzeria. Since the rankings are based on trip data, Uber said the guides will be updated “regularly.”Is the spot you Uber to the most on the list? Check out the Boston picks here.
