Rowley man arrested, charged with possession of child pornography

A Rowley man has been charged with possession of child pornography.

Rowley police said they received information from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that Dylan Burke, 26, of Rowley, was soliciting nude photos online from teen girls.

Police executed a search warrant at Burke’s home with assistance from state police crime lab and computer forensic analysts on Thursday. Burke was arrested and charged with one count of possession of child pornography, according to police.

Police said in a statement they did not believe any local children were involved.

Burke was held on $5,000 bail and is expected to be arraigned Friday in Newburyport District Court. No information about Burke’s lawyer was immediately available.
