Patriots fan gets hundreds of offers for blind date to playoff game
A Craigslist post advertised the free ticket for any guy up for a blind date.
Hundreds of men responded to an ad posted on Craigslist advertising a free ticket to Saturday’s Patriots playoff game that doubled as a blind date, CBS Boston reports.
The ad, posted Thursday, said any man between the ages of 22-35 who was willing to go on a blind date with “Alyssa’’ could have the ticket. All they had to do was explain why she should take them.
Some of the more colorful offers included: “I’ll pick you up in my BMW with chocolate’’ and “I’m in for the game, they call me Mario the Italian stallion.’’
According to CBS Boston, the post was made by friends on behalf of a newly single woman named “Francesca,’’ a Patriots fan who, until recently, was set to go to the game with her boyfriend. Photos and texts poured in after the post went up.
CBS Boston reports that Francesca has chosen her date for the game: John Feitelberg of Barstool Sports.
