Police warn of heroin labeled ‘HOLLYWOOD’ amid wave of overdoses
The Holyoke and Chicopee police departments issued warnings on Friday for heroin labeled “HOLLYWOOD.’’
“Please, if you know someone using, or are using, DO NOT use this,’’ the Chicopee police department wrote on Facebook.
Since Wednesday, the Chicopee police said the department has documented seven overdoses, three of which were fatal. Baggies with the label “HOLLYWOOD’’ were found at some of the locations.

Holyoke officials also issued a warning on Friday about bags of heroin with the “HOLLYWOOD’’ label, MassLive reports. The city had two fatal overdoses in 24 hours and bags of the labeled heroin were involved with several recent overdoses, according to MassLive.
