Lawn on D will definitely be back next summer—but it could cost you.

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority’s staff wants to keep the hip outdoor hangout in the Seaport District free, but the agency’s board, run by Governor Charlie Baker, said last week they may consider collecting admission as early as next summer, according to the Boston Globe.

The park is expected to cost the agency $1.2 million to run its 2016 season, the Globe reported, which is half the size of the subsidy the park received for the 2015 season.

Before charging admission, Lawn on D will solicit donations in May and June in an attempt to keep it free for visitors, the Globe reported. The board will revist the idea of charging admission in July.
