Student protests caused suspended service on Green Line E branch
Service on the Green Line’s E branch was suspended between the Prudential and Heath Street stops due to a student protest, according to the MBTA.
MBTA spokesperson Joe Pesaturo said service was suspended at 1:52 p.m. and resumed around 2:17 p.m.

The Northeastern students are protesting on behalf of adjunct professors, according to a statement from the group. The protest began with a rally outside the university president’s office before moving to block the Green Line at the Northeastern stop.
