Boston police make arrests in two separate armed robberies
Boston police arrested three suspects in two separate armed robberies Monday night.
Around 10:10 p.m., police responded to a call of a person with a gun in the area of The Boston Globe building at 135 Morrissey Boulevard.
When they arrived, police said they spoke with the victim who said he had been robbed at gunpoint by two suspects wearing masks near the Savin Hill MBTA station.
Officers soon found the suspects near 68 Pleasant St. in Dorchester, and said they recovered both a replica firearm and white masks hidden under the suspects’ clothing.

The replica firearm police said they recovered from the suspects.
Andronique M. Dossantos, 18, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with armed robbery and assault by means of a dangerous weapon. Kostya Ragin, 19, of Needham, was arrested and charged with armed robbery and assault by means of a dangerous weapon, as well as assault and battery for allegedly putting his hands in the victim’s pockets during the robbery.
Earlier Monday, around 5 p.m., officers responded to a call of an armed robbery in the area of 5 Maywood St. in Roxbury, according to police.
Police were told by the victim that the suspect asked to borrow his iPhone. Once he had the phone, the victim said the suspect told him that he had a gun and motioned to his waistband, before fleeing toward Martin Luther King Boulevard, police said.
While canvassing the area, police were told by an employee of a nearby business that a male matching the suspect’s description had entered the store and tried to sell him an iPhone.
Police said they located the suspect soon after, and he told them he found the cell phone and was going to sell it. The officers then arrested the 15-year-old from Roxbury and charged him with armed robbery.
