Man shot and killed in Stop & Shop parking lot

Boston police are investigating the death of a man who was shot in a Roxbury Stop & Shop parking lot Wednesday afternoon. Police believe the man was targeted, according to a police spokesman.

Officers responded to a call of a person shot in the back parking lot of the market at 1620 Tremont Street around noon, according to Boston police. They found the man suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He was later pronounced dead.
