Police: Deaths, injuries following New Hampshire circus tent collapse
A circus tent at the fairgrounds in Lancaster, New Hampshire, collapsed on Monday evening, leaving 250 people trapped inside, the Associated Press reported.
The collapse came during a performance as strong winds moved through the region. A New Hampshire State Police dispatcher told Boston.com that there were casualties, but would not say how many. Authorities told WCVB-TV there were two deaths and 15 other injuries.
Gov. Maggie Hassan said that officials are continuing to monitor the situation as it unfolds.
