Get to it at the right time and you could have smooth sailing for your commute. Wrong time, and you’re in for a nightmare — especially if someone driving a rental truck has disregarded the “DANGER Low Clearance Ahead’’ sign.
Storrow Drive. The plan for the roadway was proposed in 1929 and work began in 1950. The parkway, which wends its way alongside the Charles River, has since been seen in the foreground of many photos of Boston’s skyline.
