Images released of toddler found on Deer Island
Police have released computer-generated composite images of the the 4-year-old girl whose body was found on the shoreline of Deer Island last week.
The images of the young girl were created from photographs of “Baby Doe’’ by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and “depict her as she may have appeared in life,’’ according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Photographs of black and white polka-dot leggings the girl was wearing when found, as well as a white zebra-print blanket discovered with her body, were was also released.
A woman walking her dog along the western shoreline of Deer Island discovered the body. Deer Island, which houses a sewage treatment plant, extends from Winthrop out into Boston Harbor.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police, or Winthrop police.
