Tourists wander into history outside Tsarnaev courthouse
“We’re tourists,’’ said Corey Grimes. “We wandered into this by accident.’’
Grimes, of Los Angeles, and Brett Nebeker, of Chicago, got caught in the media scrum that followed the death penalty verdict when they stopped to get lunch at The Daily Catch.
Both were vaguely aware the trial was going on in Boston but hadn’t followed it closely. They didn’t even know the sentence until told by a reporter.
They have no opinion on whether Tsarnaev should have gotten life or death.
“This is one of the most unique experiences of our lives,’’ Grimes said.
