Mayor Marty Walsh is a “directioner.’’

During his live Twitter chat on Wednesday afternoon, he responded to a resident asking why he hadn’t commented on Zayn Malik leaving One Direction.

Although he’s clearly upset, the mayor did not confirm whether or not he’d like to be the next member of the boy band.
